Installation - Wiring
According to your project, it is necessary to determine the number of linear metres of Domino Flex RGB needed.
1. The quantity of Flex RGB is below or equal to 5 metres (Solution 1).
You can use the all-purpose controller 5V + remote control and, if needed, cut the reel in several parts. In this case, make sure to find the cutting place of the printed circuit which is placed each two LEDs.
You can choose therefore the animation in series or in parallel. Example: With a programme as chaser, if you connect different edges in series, the animation will proceed from one end to another of 5 m of Flex RGB.
If you connect the edges in parallel, the programme "chaser" will proceed in synchronic way on each of them. It's up to you to decide the final effect you want to give to your sign board.
Make sure that you followed the direction of wiring the reels. Indeed, the reel has starting end and final end.
2. You have two reels of Flex RGB in parallel. You can use the all-purpose controller 5V + remote control. See paragraph 1 to know how to cut and connect the Domino Flex RGB.
3.You have more than 3 reels in parallel with 8 reels maximum (Solution 2). See paragraph 1 to know how to cut and connect the Domino Flex RGB.
