Wiring
In order to simplify the wiring, the Domino 2Dmax2 are connected without distinction of polarity (+ or -)
After determining the number and/or power of electricity supplies, 100 modules maximum should be wired on loops in parallel whil using the LEDs Domino 2DMax2.
To connect these loops in parallel to the 24V supply cables (+ and -), use electrically insulated connectors to avoid any short-circuit (cf. connector accessories) or make a connection by solder and heat-shrinkable tubing.
Important reminder Cross-section of carrier cable connecting loops:
• 1,5 mm2 when the power supply is less than 2 m from the sign
• 2,5 mm2 when the power supply is more than 2 m from the sign
ADVICES
The Domino 2Dmax can be used in aluminium letters with a Perspex side mostly by placing modules in the bottom of the letter.
However, for some colours of Perspex, you have to place them on the edges of letters at 90°.
It is also possible to use the Domino 2Dmax2 in the letters with 3 Perspex sides. In this case, we advise you rabbeting your PVC bottom. It helps the module get down and avoid the shadow on the edges.
