WIRING

Unlike other products in the range, and in view of their small size, the only way to connect each part of the Domino Flex (either version) after cutting is to solder the + and – ends indicated on the printed circuit, using a suitable soldering iron. After having determined the length and/or power of the electricity supply units, the parallel loop wiring must comprise no more than 420 LEDs (i.e. 5 metres in length). To adapt the length of the Flex to your letter or logo, you can either cut 6-LED sections along the mark or fold the printed circuit and silicone sheath back on itself. The only parts of the Flex that can be folded back on themselves are those that do not contain electronic components such as the LEDs or resistances (see the sketch indicating possible folding areas). Carrying out these operations calls for precision and requires the use of appropriate tools.

We therefore recommend using a standard reference to measure the Domino Flex lengths required to illuminate your letters. This avoids excessive handling of the Domino Flex, which might otherwise damage the internal connections.
To ensure watertightness after cutting the silicone sheath, it is advisable to use a clear glue; this will fill and thus seal the sheath. This must be done at both ends when a Flex is used outdoors. Plugs can also be used

ADVICE

As with any sign, once it has been assembled we advise you to perform an aging test lasting at least 48 h to check that it has been properly assembled and connected and that the LEDs have not suffered any damage in the process.
