Wiring
In order to simplify the wiring, the 3Dmax2 are connected without distinction of polarity (+ or -).
After determining the number and/or power of electricity supplies, 100 modules maximum should be wired on loops in parallel while using the LEDs Domino 3DMax2.
To connect these loops in parallel to 24V supply cables (+ and -), use electrically insulated connectors to avoid any short circuits (cf. connector accessories) or make a connection by solder and heat-shrinkable tubing.
Advices
The Domino 3Dmax2 can be used mostly in aluminium letters with a Perspex side by placing modules in the bottom of the letter.
However, for some colours of Perspex, you have to place them on the edges of letters at 90°.
It is also possible to use the Domino 3Dmax2 in the letters with 3 Perspex sides. In this case, we advise you to rabbet your PVC bottom (see picture). It helps the module to get down and to avoid the shadow on the edges.
Important reminder
Cross-section of carrier cable connecting loops:
• 1,5 mm2 when the power supply is less than 2 m from the sign
• 2,5 mm2 when the power supply is more than 2 m from the sign
